In a large bowl, combine 1 cup ragi flour, ¼ cup rice flour, ½ tsp cumin seeds, and salt to taste. Mix the dry ingredients well for an even consistency. 

Gradually add 1 cup of buttermilk to the dry mixture. Stir continuously to avoid lumps and ensure a smooth batter for perfect dosas. 

Add water little by little to the batter, mixing well. The batter should be slightly thinner than regular dosa batter, ensuring crispy dosas. Let it rest for 10 minutes. 

Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame. Grease it lightly with oil. Pour a ladleful of batter in a circular motion starting from the center, spreading it thin.

Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the dosa. Let it cook on medium heat until the edges start to lift and turn crispy. No need to flip!
